Confused

My really good friend, Matt, got me smashed at a bar last night. Yes... HE got me drunk. It was not I.
Anyway, as we both started getting extremely tipsy, we started talking about relationships and such. He began questioning me on my current relationship with my wonderful boyfriend, but Matt continued to pry me for juicier, more negative answers.
At the end of the night, before my friend Lisa & I went out to the vehicle, Matt told me that he liked me and that he needed to talk to me in the morning.
I have avoided him all day.
I'm seeing him in a few hours, though. Lisa phoned him later this afternoon & arranged a dinner for all three of us. He told her that he still needed to talk to me about something "important". I'm nervous. What would he possibly need to say to me?? I'm just his friend, but things are getting weird. I like him, but I could never hurt my boyfriend. I love him far too much.

I'm so confused.
